Discovered the classic West Brom on Rhubarb Radio, courtesy of @thebigpaws radio show. From there, it was a very short step to Guardian-reading Moseley and gravelly-granned Northfield.

• Fraz is Faisal Rashid currently plays bass in Brummie Ska band “The Heels”, and, bizarrely, guitar and tenor banjo with traditional English Folk outfit “Rannygazoo”.
• Gus is Angus Campbell, who ‘has worked in just about every genre of music going, including… Birmingham’s legendary Bhangra scene’.

Bulletpoint biography of Harvey Andrews (© John Bush, All Music Guide):
• Born May 7, 1943, in Birmingham, England
• Began singing at a folk club owned by the Ian Campbell Folk Group in 1964
• Appeared on an EP with folk revivalist Martin Carthy in 1965
• Andrews was a teacher through most of the late ’60s
• In 1970 he released Places & Faces, his debut solo album and performed at the Cambridge Folk Festival
• Writer of Songs album released in 1972; third album released in 1973.
• Formed his own Beeswax label in 1982
